Of course, when we heard about one of the most appreciated and picturesque wine regions in the world was on our doorstep – we had to check it out. Taking the two hour train ride out of the city was a mental refresh that we didn’t know we needed. Watching the city streets fade into rolling green landscapes is a breath of fresh air. No matter how enjoyable city life can be, the opportunity to hop out of it for a couple of days is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted – especially considering because of the hidden gems that are available.
